I never planned to homeschool. In fact, I stepped into it out of necessity. When my oldest son began struggling in public school due to his ADHD, I could see his confidence fading. I didn’t have a perfect plan — I just knew we had to try something different. As a full-time working mom, the hardest part wasn’t the teaching itself… it was piecing everything together into a complete, cohesive program. I spent countless hours researching, combining resources, and trying to make it all fit. That overwhelm is what sparked this mission. I created Hands On Homeschool to provide thoughtfully designed, complete courses that support different learning styles — so parents don’t have to start from scratch. If you’re feeling unsure but know your child needs something different, you’re not alone. I’ve been there — and I built this for families like ours.
